Chicken Pockets

blend together:
3 oz. cream cheese
3 Tbs. melted butter

add and mix:
2 cups cooked cut up chicken
1/4tsp. salt
1/8tsp. pepper
2 Tbs. milk
1 Tbs. chives

(this time around I did not do the salt, pepper, and chives. Instead I used Penzey's Sandwich Sprinkle).

For the dough, in Austria we use what is called Blätterteig, which is like a puff pastry. I'm not exactly sure what this would be in the US...any suggestions or thoughts?

Slice dough into 8 squares. Place an equal amount on each square and then fold up the dough. Bake at 350 F for 20-23 minutes.

I also recently saw a recipe in one of my Taste of Home Holiday magazines for "Turkey Bundles". The recipe was very similar in style, and used turkey instead of chicken.

Enjoy!
