Veggie Pizzas, Advent Concert Evening.2 tubes (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent rolls
(if in Austria, use Pizzateig; or make your own crust)
1 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 Tbs. dill weed
2 1/2 c. chopped fresh veggies of your choice (I used tomatoes, broccoli, celery, cucumber, and carrots)
3/4 c. shredded (cheddar) cheese
3/4 c. shreded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Unroll the crescent rolls and place in an ungreased 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Flatten dough to fit the pan, sealing seams and perforations. Bake at 375F for 10minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
In a small mixing bowl, beat the mayonnaise, cream cheese, and dill until smooth; spread over crust. Top with the vegetables of your choice. Sprinkle with cheeses; press lightly. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Cut into squares. Yield: 12-15 servings.
